Hi everyone! Just a little bit more chat this week as we hit the milestone of 200 weekly vlogs - more or less, anyway!
One day I will produce a shorter one, I promise, but for now thank you all for being here and taking part, wether you’ve been along for the whole ride or just signed up - welcome everyone.

Hi Peter 'suffering' is not an adjective I would use as a viewer of your vlogs. I find them really interesting and learn something new more often than not!

Hope you don't mind me asking a bit off-content, but maybe you have an answer as an experienced Youtuber.
I've noticed several of the channels I watch are into "giving away" stuff. One extreme example is the goonzquad channel. They are a very popular channel in the crashed auto repair genre.
Recently they have had a few incredible give aways - tied to their merch web site - where they have given away Lamborghinis' and $120,000 pickup trucks plus thousands of dollars.
What's the strategy behind that?

Sadly I am always a bit sceptical of companies (especially the big corporates!) who may approach you offering to do some kind of joint venture in that they could just be subtly digging for information.. whether that is obvious IP or just trying to get an idea of market size.. ..before they eventually turn up with their "own" version of your product!
