For all 10MW Plus members*
Hi everyone, hope you’ve had a good week and are having a great weekend! This week saw me and Mrs 10M take a flying visit to Southampton to help my son move house, I posted my 599th video - number 600 will have to wait until later in January - and my CMT 6mm flat ground grooving blade arrived… and doesn’t quite fit right out of the box, unfortunately.
This is most likely my last A Week In The Workshop vlog of the year - that said my Vevor bench arrived while I was doing the editing, along with that medieval-looking UJK Domino-profile router bit, so never say never - but I’m putting this one out to all 10MinuteWorkshop Plus members as I’d like to wish everyone here all the very best for Christmas and the new Year, and I’ll look forwards to seeing you all again in Jabnuary 2025.
As always, thank you all so much for your support here and for helping make it such a great community, and a special thank you to Graham for being forum admin, and to Alan for looking after the techie back-end stuff.
Thanks everyone; stay safe, take care, and I’ll see you again in 2025.
Peter

Keen to see this vevor bench if that will need a new top or will the standard once be suitable
Plainly you didn't appreciate that the light bulbs were part of the heirloom heritage that they just couldn't part with... When I was young(er) we moved with my four little sisters, into a house which had enjoyed a mains powered clock in each room - the outgoing owner had removed them all by cutting the cables with a pair of secateurs, without turning off the power! Luckily we spotted it before any small hands explored the remaining cables, which were wired into the back of sockets rather than via plugs - so it could be worse!
Have a great Christmas, and a prosperous New Year!
Seasons Greetings, Peter, to you and yours. Look forward to catching up in 2025 after your well deserved break. Did they take the shades as well?
