Hi all! Bit of chatty catch-up this week, with some ‘filling in the blanks’ on the marking out for the drawer fascias; I was using Peanut 2 connectors, but the marking out part will be relevant whatever connector you’re using, and it really emphasises the failings of the Triton doweller in this area!
I have a quick trip coming ups this week - all a bit late coming together tbh, it was only confirmed on Thursday - and hopefully I’ll be able to share some of that with you on Sunday.
I’ll be spending some of the Easter weekend decorating, but whatever you’re up to this weekend I hope you have a good one; thanks as always for being here, and I’ll catch you again mid-week.
All best for now, Peter

Interesting, timely comment on the promoting others issue, as like in this video I see you using the Peanut2 mini jig regularly and so I'm umming and arring over whether to buy the LTJ+ or the Peanut2 mini jig. With shipping to the US and adapting to my router (need to buy a Trend universal base to use the Trend 18mm guide bush or buy a full metric set of 1-3/16 bushes for not much more), the Peanut2 without the Peanut2 cutter comes in cheaper (Trend sell their 30mm PC style 1-3/16 bush cheap) and I could still add the cutter later.
I'm interested on what your new version will offer to confuse my decision process more :)
Any possibility of facilitating the arrival of the elusive saw following the visit?
I personally enjoyed both the Triton Doweling tool and drawer slides videos. I've tried a number of different doweling approaches and still find it difficult to obtain precision at a reasonable cost. since I'm retired and more of a hobbyist woodworker. I am also just starting to make 10 drawer boxes, 2 of which will have side mount slides due to the length required for full extension. The others will have Blum undermounts; so that video was very timely.
Hi Peter, Really interested in your work flow video. I started with imovie and then tried FCP, having all most settled on Filmora, I finally settled on Resolve. It has the potential to be a very steep learning curve but the first stage is quite straight forward. - I have my first batch of S-log 3 to learn how to process this recording mode!!
Oh good luck with that trip, looking forward to the update! Yes for the workflow video from me too!
