A few weeks back I fitted a grooving blade into the little Festool Table saw and in this one I’m making box joints in a way that cuts all four ends at once - fast, accurate and easy. Enjoy!

I have already left a comment in the public video. It ‘helps’ more there than in the member video.

Do comments under non-public videos do anything for the YouTube algorithm? Then I'll write something there too 😉

Whenever I make a box I run the rebate for the bottom, as you did, with a rebate bit. However, I tend to cheat (?) by rounding the corners of the base, instead of squaring up the rebate.

I do have a corner chisel thingy, but it is usually easier to pick up a file.

Thanks Andrew; crossed my mind as well tbh, but then you have to match the corner radius and it probably wouldnt be the same as one on the multijig etc.. etc.. And besides, I'm creating memories here - when was the last time anyone saw me use a chisel? 😂 👍

Box joints is something I’ve been thinking of trying Peter. Thank you for this video. Could you do another, please, but using a hand-held router instead of the table-saw?

Could that be another 10MW jig opportunity??
