Excellent little fixture Peter! Thank you for sharing. As the miter saw is out in the garage, having a little fixture like this in the basement shop would be just the ticket. I'm going to put one together this weekend!

I love this video. A super handy jig. I bought a really cheap mitre saw for the mountain of 4x2s I needed to cut for my workshop build. In a small workshop they take up a huge amount of space though. If I manage to build an accurate version of this jog, I think it would see more use than the mitre saw.

Thanks Lukas! Yes, that was the main reason for me making the original jig - taking a big thing like the Kapex onsite just to trim back a little bit of beading seemed crazy; dust collection was better on the tracksaw + jig method as well! 👍
