Double Cabinet - no router, no dado stack [member edit]

For all Plus Members

The first 500 people to click my link will get a one month free trial of Skillshare: https://skl.sh/petermillard12231

NB: I'm leaving the skillshare integration and link in this one because if there's a course you're interested in on skillshare, then a month's free trial is pretty good deal. 👍

In last weeks video I made a pair of plywood workshop cabinets, and in this one I’m making the double that sits between them; like before, I’ll be making it without a tape measure, a ruler or a square, and without nails, screws or any other kind of fixing, and no table saw, no dado stack, no router, just a tracksaw.

Though not just any tracksaw, my first tracksaw actually, the Festool TS55 I bought in 2008, the one that I used to build my fitted furniture business from scratch. Who’s interested in  a ‘Why buy quality tools’ video in the New Year?

Enjoy!

Hi Peter.

Sorry to be a pain but I'm one of those people who never signs a contract of any sort before I know the cost.

Do you know how much skillshare costs per month. They do not give this information unless I sign up for an account. With automatic billing after the free month It's very worrying.

We are on a fixed income that will drop next month so things financial have to have all ts crossed and is dotted.

Hi Jonathan. Yes, I agree it's a sleazy tactic that I dislike intensely, this whole 'hiding the real cost' thing. According to my Skillshare 'account and memberships' tab, after my free trial ends it's billed as £79 annually - there's no monthly option. To be clear, I wasn't suggesting that anyone signs up long term for this unless they *really* want to) just that if there was a course anyone fancied, you could sign up and complete the course during the free month, then cancel. Normally there's just a 7-day free trial, which isn't really enough to take a full course in, but I figured a month was decent enough.

HTH Peter

There is often a little gem in every video you make and for me today's was the use of the double sided backing tape!! Thanks Peter for another valuable and interesting year. The value and consistency you provide for membership is nothing less than outstanding. Best wishes for the season and thanks again. Cheers Rob
