In this one I use an ongoing project to discuss the three-way pull of Form, Function and Fabrication; the design considerations we need to take when making anything for ourselves, or clients.
Legacy video is from member content; join the conversation as a 10minuteworkshop Plus member on a paid subscription to enjoy more exclusive videos.

Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.......😉
I always saw the wwgoa stuff and thought it was a bit of an odd thing and so never looked into it fully. Your Ad has me thinking I should probably have given it more time and for all of about £1 for a year if there are still any sign up spots left I should give it a go so thank you.
As for the bel am I had been watching with interest as being 6’3” tall whilst as a step up it was fine as I don’t often need that much extra height everything about it felt a 20% size increase would be ideal for me! A bekvam xl if you will! I had been wondering why plans…

If a tactile warning is needed under foot to not stand on the edge then how about sticking a 12 or 18mm wide strip on the top parallel to the side edges. That strip could have curved bevel edges so it is still comfortable to sit on. It just needs to be high enough for your foot to feel it. With that arrangement the top can still be resting on the side A-frame legs rather than within them.
