For all 10MW Members
Hi everyone! Just a quick midweek catchup - very much more of the same this week, tbh.
We hit a snag with the new forums - it's all migrated nicely, apart from the actual memberships, which need a little more finessing. They'll be back up as soon as we can, but if all else fails then we'll be sure to have the public facing forums available to all members by Friday - wouldn't want to be without the forums at the weekend!
I've taken a slight step back from the VacuDog story as there's a bit of behind the scenes stuff going on that I don't want to be in the middle of - as well as an interesting development that I've been told about in confidence - and anyway I'm still waiting for some parts for the vac pump before I can make that public.
If you caught my instagram I've received an AirWeights MFT 'clamp' that uses the VacuDog and holds very strongly - strong enough to lift the Benchdogs MFT off the deck - so that's a very interesting application as well, but again one that will have to wait for the moment.
For now though its back to the grind; I will have a quick refresher on scribing at the weekend as this came up in conversation recently, and I'll need to be doing some of that for when I sort out my son's alcove cabinets - the refresher is as much for me as it is for you tbh, as it's been a little while...
Anyway, that's all for now; the forums will be back as soon as we possible can, enjoy the rest of the week and I'll catch you at the weekend.
Peter
It might be an Apple Mac thing, my wife has a Mac Book Air and often struggles to connect to the PS1.
My Windows Laptop has never had any issues whatsoever connecting to the PS1 ?
Are you stuck using the building wifi?
Alas not all wifi routers are great, especially the ones bundled for free with home broadband.
At home I added TP-Link Deco routers that work in a mesh, which transformed wifi even in a small house.
