From Meh to Woah! In an afternoon!
Late last year I bought a BambuLab P1s 3D printer, and having set it up I was a little ambivalent about it. But all it took was an afternoon too get me hooked, and this video tells that story.
I bought the BambuLab P1s (and all filament used) direct from BambuLab. I purchased but have not used, isopropyl alchohol and glue sticks. I have had no issues with bed adhesion

Peter, if you were a saleman for BambuLab, you would make a lot of money! ;-) Great epsiode and I laughed when you mentioned your hidden wisdom teeth when describing your hidden 3D gene. It is just fascinating how this technology has gone and no doubt will further improve with time. Thank you for a great video.
I had an Ender 3S, did a lot of prints on it, but it drove me batty, I'd spend hours every month getting the 1st layer right or to stick and be smooth. I have the Bambu X1 and its been amazing, I've printed probably 200 rolls of filament and had maybe 3 failures, usually my fault or switching filament material without cleaning the bed. You've been blessed not to go through the hell of early 3D printing ;) Love to see the "epiphany" for you, I've printed 1/2 my storage in the shop, battery holders, tool holders, jigs for my router, zero clearance inserts, replacement wheel for the dish washer, car parts :). I just printed some miter bar runn…
Interesting comments under the video (except for the bird who thinks it's a Bambulab promotional video - he has no idea!!!)
I think it was the plans of the rail hinge that made me think at the time: If you knew anything about CAD, you'd need a 3D printer 😂
Ok, it took a little longer, today it is delivered. Although I've actually always resisted it.
The ‘I urgently need to print’ list is already so long that I could buy a second printer 😂😂😂
