Coincidentally Mark Thomas put out a video this week on making an electrical cabinet.
He used a button fixing that allows folks (electricians) to easily pull off the fake door panel. Wonder where we find it in the USA. Will have a look around.
Mark did spend too much time on making the fake door panel.
Perhaps it would be just as easy to make a real five piece door.
However his fake inset door aesthetic is very nice.

Forgot to mention on your precursor video, the explanation and demonstration of the scribing finally rang a 🛎️ in my 🧠 = ☀️
I’ve watched so many scribing videos (including yours) and never truly understood the actual reason for the initial offset.
For my infills, I simply followed the process as a mindless robot. It’s what I do when something gets to be a mind-numbing puzzle for me. Lets go, I’m ready for the AI takeover! 😆
Very nice and good to know all the tips required to fit a cabinet in an old house. I favour older spacious houses and will be looking for one when I leave the Hebrides next year.
