Hello Peter, I have noticed that you are using a sacrificial strip on your MFT but I am wondering what is the drawback to not have it?

It just extends the life of the MFT top; if you don’t have one then every time you make a cut you cut into it, and it wears away eventually. 👍

Great video Peter, makes the wolfcraft an attractive proposition. Just need a 10MW Mft jig!!

Yep, I agree with Peter S., the "Wack-A-Doodle Extrusion" it is! With those tweaks, if that bench were available here in the USA and I wanted a portable one, I'd buy one. Doing just those 3 mods will work great for a large majority of the tasks I want an MFT to do. As for the t-slots on the short sides, is it possible to route them out enough to accept Festool compatible clamps, etc.?

I have been properly in tears & frustration doing the final dialling-in on the track adapter for this extrusion to get it just right. Happy to say that today it’s done.

I think we can coin the name, from now on to be known as the wolfcraft wack-a-doodle extrusion.
