Busy week in the workshop this week. I completed the #router #bench swap-over - more or less, anyway, and with a few niggles along the way - and I found the missing parts of the old #Triton router. I also bought a new thing (old thing) to take another run at - if the definition of madness is doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result, then we're well on track!
There’s also a sneak preview of a couple of the gift list items - links below for your convenience. I’ll put the full list to on Wednesday, as planned.
Thank you as always for your amazing support, enjoy the rest of the weekend, and I’ll catch you in the next one.

Couldn't help notice that your under-mount router sounded like a jet engine when you turned it on. I use the Triton 3 1/4 for my under-mount router and have trouble sometimes figuring out if it's on it's so quiet. Like the table redo, especially that wax you used to finish it off.
Like you with the Triton doweller I had fun with biscuit joiners. I managed to drop my Elu on a concrete floor and it did not do its alignment any good. My tool dealer let me try several and I had the same problem that you had, I will not name names …
Suffice to say that I ended up with a DeWalt, which is spot on. Does not get used much these days, since you forced me to get a domino! 😋
I’m enjoying the different camera angles you have been adding to the recent videos Peter, this one with the under bench ‘hello’ and you digging through a pile of offcuts in the clamp racks one. Makes things a bit more interesting. Is it as a result of the course you did earlier in the year?
I bought the router lift and motor from Rutland to suppliment their original one I bought 5 years ago. Vast improvement and it work brilliantly plus it's a lot cheaper than Jessem
