Hi everyone

Just a general catch-up today; as I said in the midweek I’ve never done splines before so I took the opportunity to try gluing up the test piece I did on the bandsaw previously, and it worked out pretty well; that does leave the issue if trimming off the ends of the splines, so I drew on my inner Jimmy Diresta freehand them at the bandsaw. Pretty good!

There’s a bit of chat about the Vacudog - works well - and as I mentioned in the midweek, a bit of an update on the 10MW QuadFence, which could well be the next product after the MFT jig; keep you posted.

And finally, I’m having bluetooth trouble - doesn’t everyone - with an app for a laser measure; too clever by half these things, give me a simple 5-metre measure with a 25mm blade, metric-only and the scales on both side of the tape - and both edges, obvs - with some way to measure internal edges and calculate the area of a cylinder, and I’d be happy…

Late-breaking bit of news on PPWR and ERP; I just received an email from the guys who do my EU VAT and GPSR and they have a service starting in September to deal with the whole EU post and packing thing, at what seems to be a very reasonable price. I need to get into the details, but EU sales could well be back on sooner rather than later.
