If you’re in the market for a mobile workbench that’s a step up from the £/$/€100 plastic offerings but don’t have the budget for a full-blown Festool MFT then you’ll find the options to be pretty thin on the ground, so I was interested to see the Wolfcraft Master work 1600 Mobile Bench on Amazon at £275; interested enough to buy one and take a closer look. Enjoy!

I have the Kreg ACS table. Folds and rolls on wheels. Fits the track clamps just fine.
However, it is 3/4” 19mm dog holes.
Tools from China fit into the dog holes just fine.
The side t-tracks fit 1/4-20 bolt heads, however not the track clamps.
To fit the Festool tracks, the track hinge recesses have to expanded with quick chisel work (or newly made on the other sides).
I was fortunate to get it on the used markets for $100.
That is a good overall first assesment of that table. Interested to see what your modifications will be and how that affects the overall cost. It really is so weird that NO ONE has made a ready to buy mid-range mft. It seems like a big money making no brainer.
It always seems like designers on these cheaper products nearly get it right so close but so far away i think if it had a proper mft top it would be a very popular work bench wolf craft could save a fortune if they changed the top from 22mm to 18mm how would an 18mm top sit on would it be below the frame ? The quick locks for set up are a great idea
What a shame. As Peter says, there is a gap in the market. My home made, self designed MFT top is on its last legs - so I was very interested in what Wolfcraft might have to offer. But the eccentric design choices mean that I will not be purchasing - and I am back to looking at Peter's plans.
Peter's analysis did prompt me to look back at his Extrusion Confusion video though.
There is (nearly) a solution with 15180 extrusion - such as https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/284939508209. But the price is eye-watering (£240 for 4 Metres - enough to make a 795mm x 1200 workbench top) and the lips that reinforce the edges of the channel reduce the clearance so that…
If you remove the original top, add some bracing and then fitted a ‘standard’ size MFT style top above the height of the original top there is the option to then add an MDF or ply apron and t-track to make it more MFT-alike?
From what I can see, the most useful parts of that bench are the legs and an aluminium frame…
I did look at getting one at one point, but when noticed the lack of 96mm compatibility I was put off.
