I know, it gets overused, but I think that a 'finally' is justified here!
So I have a saw. No, I haven't opened the box on account of being a dead man if I started playing with this while there are other boxes to unpack and a bed to assemble, but yes, it's here, yes, the move went pretty well, thanks everyone for your best wishes and kind comments.
