Interesting hack Peter. Having used the Parf system to make an array of holes on my Paulk benchtop which turned out to be not not very accurate, a precision array of 30mm (say) holes which guides a 20mm Forstner is interesting. Over a small distance the Parf system is ok (ish). I have two (different) CNC MFT tops which I have made router table and cutting station from which sit on top of the Parf created top (like Ron Paulk shows with TSO PowerLoks). After about 4 or so holes the CNC and Parf holes don’t line up. The two CNC do of course. I’ve been contemplating plugging all the holes and starting again using a CNC MFT or …
This is what seems to work ok, note I have a Parf guide Mk 2, but find that the run of holes don’t line up with a CNC top.
I clamp the workpiece to the underside of a CNC top which acts as a template. I use a 3mm spiral up cut bit in my plunge router fitted with a 20mm guide bush. I can then create an array of 3mm holes as used by the parf guide. Using the parf revision 20mm chamfered plugs in the template top I then bore the 20mm holes in the work piece using the UJK cutter in its bushing aligned by 3 3mm pins as usual. The 20mm hole in the template actin…
I have the ujk reamer that may be something to look it they do one that reams and chamfers and I’m sure they do one that just reams if your not wanting the hole chamfered
I'm very interested in the 20mm forstner bit for a drill and a diy drill guide thingy. I do have a plunge base for my router, but it's the small 1/4" collet DeWalt trim router and none of the 20mm router bits will fit, so I'll be closely following any progress you make on that.
It's certainly going to be interesting with the Metabo bench and also benchdogs offering custom sized MFTs what that will do to the market for the MFT jig

There's an Axminster reamer......
