Mondrian-style side table in MDF [member edit]

In this one I make a #Mondrian -style side #table in Finsa #Fibracolour #MDF, a ‘simple’ project that pushes me and my tools to the limits, and has me considering the purchase of a table saw. Enjoy!

I used Finsa Fibracolour for this table, and thanks so much to FinsaUK for the larger than usual samples.

Well, https://bridgecitytools.com/products/jmpv2-jointmaker-pro is sort of a table saw. It's a saw, in a table. No motors. Probably not quite what you're after though!

They’re very interesting - and I did consider it, but no, not what I’m after. 👍

Thanks Gary. I know a few people who’ve had big issues getting a flat TDK - they gave up, basically - and aside from the ‘Sawstop’ tech, there’s a few odd decisions made eg no mitre slots, full length fence is an optional extra. 🤔🤷‍♂️

Hey Peter,

Brilliant, impressed and inspired.

I too appreciate a challenge. My challenge of late... setting up my home shop for the umteenth time lol. I still have the Festool MFT3 and Track Saw unopened in the shipping boxes. I haven't scratched the surface finding all kinds of accessories available. If that wasn't enough, I've now immersed myself in the quest for the right table saw to go along with the track saw set up... I was originally looking at the Triton modular system as a compliment to the MFT3. but I decided after viewing it on YouTube that it wasn't for me. With all there is available here I still find myself obsessing over a saw at Axminster, an…

Thanks Frank! Yes, always a challenge finding a table saw that meets a specific set of requirements, especially if you want something relatively small! 👍
