In this one I make a quick & easy inset drawer in Birch ply and Maple veneered ply. Enjoy!
I used the Keith Brown Original Oil Wax finish - also available in clear and food safe versions here - https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1314398822/kb-oil-wax-wood-finish-triple-pack

I have always had trouble with the non undermount drawer slides not binding, sometimes they work fine and are smooth but others I have to mess with shims and such. The cabinet is perfectly square in all directions, it has 3 drawers the bottom one is smooth as silk but the top one was binding I had to use some shims to get it to operate correctly.??
Quick one @petermillard: your blue tape measure, doesn't look like the hultafors, whats the make? Love the scribe underneath.
Love this last shop cabinet serie, you seem to be progressing much slower than your usual building of things, but I love that it gives all the details including messups and fixes. Probably stupid question; for the drawer faces, you mentioned the easiest and fastest to hide plywood edges is to use a rebated face, but why not put a thick face from front (covering edges) without any rebate? Is it a big no because of strength? Also wondering how you decide on the thickness of the drawer bottom piece, I think I was expecting fairly thin like 6mm similar to on commercially produced drawers, seeing a 12mm bottom was a surprise :)
Good solid stuff, I really like your approach to making drawers, especially the fronts!
excellent as always. like the track saw pre router approach which saves the multi pass approach with a router.
