Hi everyone. So I have finally finished my lights in the new space - I mean when I say finished there’s still a few bits to do, but they’re functioning and aside from adding a few screws and a back box here and there and clearing up a bit, it’s finished for now.

Unfortunately the flooring guys have pushed back my start date by a couple of weeks - commercial job overrun apparently - so that won’t happen until the week after Makers Central, w/d may 18th. Not the end of the world, but it’s irritating because it’s the floor that’s holding everything else up.

Anyway, it is what it is, but it does mean that I’m at a slight loss as to where to go next on it; the metal windows need a bit of work, and I do want to make some plantation-syle shutters for the windows, so perhaps I’ll start planning those, because they’re not the typical shutters with a connecting rod or arm, and tbh I’m not sure how they work, exactly. If you have or have seen the plantation shutters from Hillarys blinds then you’ll know what I mean, but I feel a journey of discovery - or frustration - is about to start!
