Hey everyone. So a little late in the day, but I'm happy to announce that the latest version of the Loose tenon Jig - the LTJ30 - is now available for pre-order, with the first batch shipping by the end of the week. At this time I still haven't had a production sample in my hands - arrives tomorrow - so please excuse the un-branded pre-prod. sample in the photo, and also the lack of any current photos; they will follow along shortly ie tomorrow.
I've chatted about the latest version of the jig in previous vlogs, but long story short this is the next-gen jig in a new material that steps everything up a notch - or two - whilst still staying true to the original concept.
Of course, prices have risen since I first produced the LTJ+ a year ago, and the new materials do cost more - but I'm swallowing those costs, at least for the first batch or two.
The LTJ30 replaces the original Loose Tenon Jig and the LTJ Plus; they are great products that introduced the concept of loose tenon cabinetry to many people, but the LTJ30 is an all-round improvement.
The LTJ30 is available in my shopify store in three variations; the plain jig, the jig and Starter Pack with some dominos and a 5mm solid carbide spiral upcut bit, and a Starter Pack Plus that adds a 4.76mm shelf pin bit to the bundle.
